Hi every body,
I'm Hassen and I'm the owner of beFree project. As you red in the launchpad homepage of the project, beFree is an open source development project.
The basic idea is to use Internet connection (between two computers) and bluetooth connection (between the computer and the phone) to link two phones (see the scheme below).
I think we need two softwares. The first one is the computer beFree software wich has to receive/send signal to/from the second computer and to send/receive signal to/from the phone. For this, the software will be developed with Qt using C++ language.
The second software will be used by the phone to send/receive signal to/from the computer. It will be developed using JAVA J2ME language.
The transmission between computers uses the network. I think the best way to do it is the P2P. We can see if we'll use existing software or develop ours (I mean the sending/receiving software, not the interface I introduced two paragraphs before).
The transmission between the computer and the phone uses bluetooth. This mean that the phone has the bluetooth option activated and is near the computer.
I'm looking for motivate people. If you have ideas and/or talent for programming, be free to register to the project. For this, I created teams for each part of the project.

If you are a good C++ developers, please, give us your help and register in this team. Register free.
- JAVA developers team :
If you are a good JAVA developers (especially J2ME), please, give us your help and register in this team. Register free.
- Managers team :
If you want to lead one of the previous team or you are very large knowledge you think good for this project (JAVA, Qt, Bluetooth protocol, communication,...), please, give us your help and register in this team. For this application, please, send me e-mail first and give me your opinion and how can you be helpful in this team.
Other teams can be created later.
